Where Else Shall We Go? Dialogues in Christian Apologetics

As the title suggests, this book consists of a series of dialogues between a fictional Christian and a series of equally fictional believers in other worldviews: a pluralist, a humanist, a Hindu, a Muslim, etc. In each case, the Christian tries to explain why even a very positively presented version of the worldview in question is ultimately insufficient. Indeed, each worldview or religion becomes increasingly attractive the more it adopts rather Christianity-like forms. The book also takes three later chapters to allow all the other characters to question the Christian regarding belief in the Bible, devotion to the Church, and faith in Jesus. Overall, then, the reader moves — as through a disjunctive syllogism — toward seeing the truth of a Christian worldview as the best option remaining. “Where else shall we go?”

This is a long book, nearly 400 pages, and is available at lulu.com for about $23. I have posted a few chapters here to show how the dialogues progress.
